How to read this list

Tier reflects overall balance โ€” combat, mobility, growth speed, and ease of survival. S-tier dominates servers; D-tieris fine for beginners or niche fun. Tiering does NOT mean "only play S-tier"; the game is more fun when the ecosystem has every tier represented.

S โ€” Dominant

  • Tyrannosaurus

Best stats in the game, decent stamina, intimidates entire servers. Slow growth and obvious silhouette are the only counters.

  • Deinosuchus

Semi-aquatic apex. Untouchable in water; vulnerable on land. Unmatched ambush potential.

  • Allosaurus

Best stamina among apex carnivores, strong bleed pressure. Pack play is brutal.

A โ€” Strong

  • Diabloceratops

Tanky mid-herbivore with surprising damage. Hardest to gank in groups.

  • Triceratops

    Slow but a wall โ€” almost nothing solo-kills a full-grown Trike.

  • Carnotaurus

Fastest apex carnivore, best stamina, weak armour. Hit-and-run king.

  • Stegosaurus

Thagomizer one-shots most mid-tier carnivores; slow but defensible.

B โ€” Balanced

  • Ceratosaurus

Mid carnivore. Solid pack hunter; underwhelming solo against apex.

  • Dilophosaurus

Venom spit is unique; fragile in melee.

  • Herrerasaurus

Lightweight, sprint-heavy. Good for ambushing herbivores.

  • Tenontosaurus

Mid-large herbivore. Outpaces most carnivores in straight lines.

  • Pachycephalosaurus

Headbutt charge is high damage; small frame is hard to spot.

  • Maiasaura

    Group-play herbivore; safety in numbers.

C โ€” Niche

  • Baryonyx

Semi-aquatic carnivore; outclassed by Deinosuchus in water.

  • Beipiaosaurus

Omnivore; hard to use solo, fun in groups.

  • Gallimimus

Speed and stamina are top-tier; combat is non-existent.

  • Pteranodon

Only flier; reconnaissance value beats combat value.

  • Kentrosaurus

Spikier baby Stego; outshone by Stego at adult.

  • Omniraptor

Pack omnivore; relies entirely on group play.

  • Austroraptor

Mid raptor; lower ceiling than Omniraptor in a pack.

D โ€” Starter / Niche-only

  • Dryosaurus

Speed-tank herbivore โ€” best beginner pick. Survives forever, kills nothing.

  • Hypsilophodon

Tiny herbivore; hides constantly. Frustrating to play long-term.

  • Troodon

    Smart but tiny; group-only viable.

  • Oviraptor

Egg-stealer with sharp niche; not a combat dino.
