The Isle Evrima Prime System
A complete reference to the Prime mechanic in The Isle: Evrima v0.7.35 — every condition, how to earn it, and what hitting Prime gives you.
What is Prime?
Prime is a status your dino can earn during its life by meeting at least 5 of 10 conditions. A Prime dino is mechanically stronger (stat boost) and can participate in the Elder kill chain — a chain of kills that grants escalating buffs for chaining apex kills together as a Prime individual.
Prime is per-dino-life — if your dino dies, its Prime progress is gone and you start fresh on your next one. Store the dino with /storedino and it comes back exactly as it was when you /claimdino it — no progress lost.
The 10 conditions
You only need 5 of these to hit Prime. "Auto" conditions are situational — they happen (or do not) based on what species you play and what bad luck you avoid; you do not actively chase them.
- ☐Visit a Sanctuary as a Juvenile
- ☐Get Nested In
- ☐Get Perfect Diet (1% of each macro)
- ☐Visit Mass Migration Zone
- ☐Visit 2 Migration Zones
- ☐Visit 4 Patrol Zones
- ☐Never be InfertileAUTO
- ☐Never get Muscle SpasmsAUTO
- ☐Raise children to subadult
- ☐Be a Hypsi / Troodon / Beipi / Dryo / DeinoAUTO
Easiest path to 5/10
- Spawn in a Sanctuary as a juvenile — one condition done instantly.
- Eat a balanced diet — get a little of every food type at least once (Perfect Diet).
- Walk through the Mass Migration Zone as you head north.
- Hit a second migration zone on the way back.
- Visit 4 Patrol Zones — the slowest one, but easy if you migrate often.
That gets you to 5/10 without needing to breed or play a specific species. If you do breed, getting nested in and raising your young to subadult count as bonus conditions on top.
