Permanent
Admins choose the appropriate tier based on severity — they don't have to escalate in order. Minor first offenses might earn 24h; serious ones (doxing, cheats, RMT) can jump straight to a month or permanent. Strikes expire 90 days after the incident if no further violations occur.
03Group Limits (per species)Intentional over-packing: warning + force-disband on 1st, 48h ban on 2nd, 7-day ban on 3rd.
Every species has a max group size. When nesting, babies only count toward the group limit once they receive their first mutation and can feed themselves.
🥚 Nesting Rule
When nesting, babies do not count toward the group limit until they receive their first mutation and can feed themselves. Once they hit that point, they count like any other group member.
Megaherd System Limit: 6 — multiple herd-eligible herbivore species can group up to this combined cap together.

Details
  • Herbivores also have a Megaherd System Limit of 6 — multiple herd-eligible species can stack up to that combined cap.
  • If your group exceeds the limit because a baby just hit first mutation, you have a short grace period to split off — peel off the most-recently-added member first.
  • If your group is over by accident (someone joining mid-session, a stray spawning into you), drop off as soon as you notice — admins are reasonable when it's clearly not intentional.
  • Anything not listed here = no group limit (e.g. 'H: No Limit' in the source config).
PENALTY:Intentional over-packing: warning + force-disband on 1st, 48h ban on 2nd, 7-day ban on 3rd.
01Combat conductCombat log = 12h ban + force-kill. Mixpacking / 5-on-1: admin discretion.
No mixpacking. No 5-on-1. No combat logging.
Details
  • Stick with your own species only — mixpacking is not allowed.
  • Don't dogpile a single target with 5 or more attackers (per-species pack caps are in section 03).
  • Don't disconnect to avoid death. If you log out while in active combat, that's a 12h ban and your dino is force-killed.
PENALTY:Combat log = 12h ban + force-kill. Mixpacking / 5-on-1: admin discretion.
02No hacking, cheats, mods, exploitsPermanent ban.
Of any kind. Permanent ban if caught — and you will be caught.
Details
  • No radar / ESP / speed hacks. No gameplay-affecting mods. No abusing bugs before they're patched.
  • If you find a bug, report it instead of using it.
PENALTY:Permanent ban.
04Respect others1st offense: 7-day ban. 2nd offense: permanent.
No harassment or discrimination — anywhere on the server or Discord.
Details
  • Treat everyone with respect. Slurs, targeted hate, harassment, and discrimination of any kind are not tolerated in chat, voice, DMs, or Discord.
PENALTY:1st offense: 7-day ban. 2nd offense: permanent.
05No advertising / promoting other servers1st: warning + message deleted. 2nd: 7-day ban. 3rd: permanent.
No ads or recruiting for other servers — unless the server owner has given permission.
Details
  • No ads, recruiting messages, or promo posts for other servers in chat, Discord channels, or DMs.
  • If you have permission from the server owner, that's fine — otherwise, don't.
PENALTY:1st: warning + message deleted. 2nd: 7-day ban. 3rd: permanent.
06No revealing other players' locationsAdmin discretion based on impact.
Only exception: comms inside your own same-species pack.
Details
  • Don't share other players' coordinates or whereabouts — in game, Discord, DMs, or stream chat.
  • The only exception is comms inside your own active pack, and that pack must be your own species (loops back to rule 1).
PENALTY:Admin discretion based on impact.
07No alt accountsCaught with 3+ accounts or dual-boxing live: permanent ban on the extra account(s).
Limit of 2 game accounts per person. Both may never be online in-game at the same time.
Details
  • You can have up to 2 Steam accounts registered with the server.
  • Your two accounts can never both be in-game simultaneously — log one out before joining on the other.
PENALTY:Caught with 3+ accounts or dual-boxing live: permanent ban on the extra account(s).
08No body denying / no combat entombingAdmin discretion — combat entombing or body-denial typically a 24-48h ban.
Entombing is fine in general — but NOT during combat. If you're dying to another dino, don't deny the body.
Details
  • Entombing (burying yourself in terrain or structures) is allowed for normal play — safe logouts, hiding from a far-off threat, sleeping through the night, etc. Go for it.
  • What's NOT allowed: entombing DURING active combat to escape a fight or deny a kill. Same goes for entombing the moment you're about to log out mid-fight.
  • Throwing your dino into water, off a cliff, or into an unreachable spot to deny the body when you're about to die to another player is forbidden.
  • If you're going to die, die properly so the other player gets the kill they earned.
PENALTY:Admin discretion — combat entombing or body-denial typically a 24-48h ban.
09NestingSpawn-to-attack = permanent ban. Herbi-on-herbi nest griefing = 7-day ban + nest restored.
Pretty relaxed — but spawning babies in to attack = permaban, and herbis can't grief other herbi nests.
Details
  • Nesting itself is relaxed; you don't need permission to make a nest.
  • Spawning a sibling/baby into the world specifically to attack alongside the parent (next-to-attack) is a permanent ban.
  • Herbivores may NOT attack or destroy another herbivore's nest.
  • Gallimimus and Dryosaurus may steal eggs, as long as they do not attack the nest itself.
  • Also see the Group Limits section: babies count toward the group cap only after first mutation + self-feeding.
PENALTY:Spawn-to-attack = permanent ban. Herbi-on-herbi nest griefing = 7-day ban + nest restored.
10Purchases & RefundsChargeback = permanent ban + inventory wipe + processor dispute filed.
All Golden Coin, premium-membership, and shop purchases are final. No refunds, ever. Chargebacks = permanent ban.
Details
  • Every purchase is logged with your Discord ID, Steam ID, timestamp, and payment processor reference.
  • If you change your mind after buying, we cannot reverse it — there is no refund policy. Take a moment before clicking buy.
  • Filing a chargeback or payment dispute against the server is treated as theft: your account is permanently banned, inventory wiped, and the dispute is contested with the processor using our purchase logs.
  • If a purchase clearly didn't deliver (the item wasn't granted in-game), file a /report in Discord with the order ID and we'll fix it manually — that's a fulfillment fix, not a refund.
PENALTY:Chargeback = permanent ban + inventory wipe + processor dispute filed.
11No real money for in-game perksBoth parties permanently banned + items revoked from the receiver.
Players cannot trade real money (or anything off-platform) for in-game perks or benefits.
Details
  • Real money flows through the official shop only — Golden Coins, premium memberships, and listed items.
  • Trading real money to other players for perks, mutations, skins, kills, or any in-game benefit is prohibited.
  • This is separate from official purchases (see section 10) — this rule is about peer-to-peer real-money deals.
PENALTY:Both parties permanently banned + items revoked from the receiver.
12Discord conduct & reportsPing spam: 1h mute. General spam: 24h mute. Sharing personal report info in public chat: 7-day Discord mute.
Don't ping admins more than once an hour. No spam (messages or gifs). Personal reports go in a support ticket — never in general chat.
Details
  • If you need to ping admins, ping once and wait — max one ping per hour. Repeated pings get you muted.
  • No spamming messages, emoji walls, or gif walls in any Discord channel.
  • For personal reports (player conflicts, ban inquiries, harassment incidents), open a support ticket. Do NOT post the details in general chat — both for the privacy of those involved and so the right staff sees it.
PENALTY:Ping spam: 1h mute. General spam: 24h mute. Sharing personal report info in public chat: 7-day Discord mute.
13Discord rules apply tooReflects the offense: spam → mute; harassment/discrimination → 7-day ban → permanent; hacking/exploiting → permanent.
Follow Discord's standard rules in addition to ours. No hacking, exploiting, spamming, discriminating, or harassing other players in any Discord channel.
Details
  • All Discord community standards and Terms of Service apply on top of our server rules.
  • Don't attempt to hack or exploit Discord or the server's bots.
  • No spam (messages, gifs, emojis, pings — see section 12 for ping/spam specifics).
  • No discrimination or harassment of other players — this overlaps with section 04 but is restated here because Discord-side incidents are taken just as seriously as in-game ones.
PENALTY:Reflects the offense: spam → mute; harassment/discrimination → 7-day ban → permanent; hacking/exploiting → permanent.
14Voice chat (now available, optional)—
Proximity voice chat is now available on the server. It is NOT required — use it or don't, totally up to you.
Details
  • Voice chat is opt-in. You can play the whole game without ever turning it on.
  • Instructions on how to connect to proximity voice will be posted here soon.
  • (Server owner: drop the connect steps / mumble or TS server / settings in here when ready.)

15New player help & support—

16Lost a dino to a hacker? Open a ticket.Public callouts of suspected hackers: 24h Discord mute. Bring it to a ticket instead.
If you lose a dino (or anything else) to a hacker, create a support ticket — never share the incident in public chat.
Details
  • Open a support ticket as soon as it happens with: timestamp (UTC), the hacker's Steam ID or username if you have it, what was lost, and any clip / screenshot evidence.
  • Do NOT call out the suspected hacker in general chat or in DMs to other players — that interferes with investigation and can earn YOU a strike for harassment if you're wrong.
  • Confirmed losses to a banned cheater are eligible for inventory / dino restoration on a case-by-case basis after staff review.
PENALTY:Public callouts of suspected hackers: 24h Discord mute. Bring it to a ticket instead.
17Lost a dino to a crash or server issue?—
Open a support ticket — and you MUST include video evidence of the crash/issue for the loss to be reviewed.
Details
  • If a crash, lag spike, server restart, or other server-side issue costs you a dino, open a support ticket.
  • Video evidence is required. Without a clip of the moment it happened, staff cannot verify the loss and the ticket will be closed.
  • Include in the ticket: timestamp (UTC), the dino you lost (species + growth + any mutations), what happened (crash / DC / lag / etc.), and the video link or upload.
PENALTY:—
18Official websitePosting / spreading fake site links: permanent ban + report.
Using the website is optional — it just makes life easier. The ONLY official URL is https://www.jurassicisleofexo.com. Anything else is a scam.
Details
  • You do NOT have to use the website. Everything important (storing, claiming, balance, shop) works from Discord commands.
  • The website is a convenience layer: visual inventory, live map, profile, leaderboard, skin previews.
  • Official URL: https://www.jurassicisleofexo.com — bookmark it.
  • If anyone DMs you a different URL claiming to be 'the new site' or 'a backup site' — it's a scam. Report it in Discord and ignore the link.
PENALTY:Posting / spreading fake site links: permanent ban + report.
19Population lock & rotation—
Apex species are on an hourly rotation — population isn't free-for-all. Omnivores are always available and earn bonus ET for daily play.
Details
  • Every hour, the rotation may open a new apex slot. This applies mainly to the big ones: Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Deinosuchus, etc.
  • If your apex of choice is locked, wait for the next rotation tick or pick something else.
  • Omnivores (Gallimimus, Beipiaosaurus) are NEVER population-locked — you can always play one.
  • Bonus: play as an omnivore and you'll earn extra EXO Tokens (ET) every day. Requirement = 2+ hours of in-game playtime on that day.
  • Daily ET payout is checked at server reset based on your playtime that day. Skip a day, skip the bonus.
PENALTY:—
20Currency — EXO Tokens (ET) & Gold Coins (GC)—
ET is earned in-game and on Discord. GC is purchase-only — though we hand them out for events.

  • Ways to earn EXO Tokens (ET):
  • • Kills — direct kill credit
  • • Kill assists — when you help take something down
  • • Unlocking skins
  • • Playing daily (login/playtime rewards)
  • • Talking on Discord (active community participation)
  • • In-game chat activity
  • • Using proximity voice chat
  • • …and other secret ways. Play more, you'll find them.
  • Gold Coins (GC) can ONLY be purchased with real money — see the Shop and Premium pages.
  • We DO hand GC out as part of certain events, giveaways, and community milestones. Watch Discord for those.
  • If anyone offers to sell you GC outside the official shop, it's a scam (see section 11 — peer-to-peer real-money trades are banned for both sides).
PENALTY:—
21Server restart — combat freezeEngaging during the 5-min restart window: 12h ban + force-kill, escalates per repeat.
When the 5-minute restart warning fires, all combat must stop. Do NOT engage anyone until the server is back up.
Details
  • A 5-minute restart advisory is broadcast in-game before every scheduled restart.
  • From the moment that broadcast fires until the server is fully back online, all combat is frozen — no attacks, no chasing, no opportunistic kills.
  • If you're already in combat when the warning fires, disengage immediately — both sides break off.
  • Trying to land a free kill during the freeze (or DCing your target's chase) is treated like combat logging and is a 12h ban + force-kill.
PENALTY:Engaging during the 5-min restart window: 12h ban + force-kill, escalates per repeat.
22Bans & Appeals—
There are no ban appeals at this time. Bans are issued after careful, analytical review.

  • If you've been banned, it was a careful and analytical decision based on logs, recordings, and reports.
  • There is no active appeal process at the moment — please don't DM staff asking for one.
  • This may change in the future; if/when an appeal process opens, it will be announced in Discord.
